New Chamber Green Committee open to new members

New Chamber Green Committee open to new members.
Von Ohlen, who also is chair of the Environmentally Conscious Oswego committee and is the owner of Money Mailer of Kane, Kendall and Will counties, says the Yorkville action committee, which meets at 11 a.m. the second Thursday of the month at Armonia Tea & Coffee, 129 Commercial Dr., Unit 10, is open to anyone who is interested in protecting the environment.
“I would like us to partner with our fellow businesses in the common goal to keep our river clean, and to encourage local businesses to undertake environmentally sustainable practices.
Von Ohlen, who emphasized that the Green Committee is non-political, says she herself got involved because of her love for the Fox River.
It is the center of Yorkville.
It is our duty to be good stewards.
” Von Ohlen explained.
“I use the nature trail.
It’s my passion.
