PARKS, La. (KLFY) – The Village of Parks Water System has announced that it will shut down at 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon for an emergency leak repair.

A water boil advisory will be in effect once the repair is finished and will remain in effect until water samples have been cleared for consumption by DHH.

Affected residents should remember to bring your water to a rolling boil for one full minute before consumption.
