Boil water notice for Hobe Sound, Jupiter Island area; bacteria found
The South Martin Regional Utility has issued a boil-water notice for the Hobe Sound and Jupiter Island area after a sample from a well tested positive for fecal.
The sample that tested positive was collected Wednesday, according to a news release.
Residents should not drink the water without boiling it first.
Or, drink bottled water.
