Barry Township under boil water advisory

DELTON, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – A boil water advisory has been issued for Barry Township after a power failure in the water system.

The advisory was issued around 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

Township officials tell us there was a power outage to the water pump system during Tuesday night’s storm.

Repairs are already underway.

Bottled water will be available at the Barry Township Hall between 9:00 a.m. and 4 p.m. for water customers.

The advisory is expected to remain in effect for approximately 48 hours.
