Belmont gusher leaves Exeter residents without water

Residents of Exeter will be without water for an undetermined amount of time today as Edison augered through a 10″ water main on Belmont south of Visalia Road.
The City of Exeter has successfully prevented the flooding of nearby homes with the help of the City of Visalia.
WestValley has responded to repair the pipeline. And Exeter is shutting off the entire city water system to allow the repair to happen. Most or all of Exeter will be without water for a while.
A pre-recorded message was sent out advising all Exeter residents of the situation.
