The Vermilion Parish Waterworks District No 1 has restored pressure within the water supply system and the boil advisory now is lifted.

Water samples collected by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals – Office of Public Health have been negative for coliform bacteria.  Therefore the boil advisory released as a precautionary measure is now rescinded.  The water is again safe for consumption.

The following below listed roads will be affected by the Rescinded Boil Advisory.

• All of Luther Road
• Aube Drive
• Hwy 343 from Luther to Hwy 696 (Both sides of the Road)
