Boil advisory lifted for Bullitt Co. Louisville Water Company customers

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A boil advisory has been lifted for Louisville Water Company customers in Bullitt County.
Officials say the advisory went into effect after water main breaks near Coral Ridge and Brooks Station Roads over the weekend.
They have since been fixed.
Louisville Water Company says the 250 customers that were impacted should discard the first two cycles of ice in automatic dispensers.
They say it’s common to see discolored water after water main break repairs.
Officials say customers should flush their lines by running cold water for at least 5 minutes from the highest point inside their home.
