A boil water advisory is in place for parts of Port aux Basques.

According to a notice from the town, the advisory affects Water Street West, Baird Street, Knox Avenue, East Avenue and Forsey’s Lane.

The advisory has been put in place due to fire hydrant repairs in the area.

All resident’s are advised to boil their drinking water until further notice.
