COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) – The City of Columbia Water Works division is advising customers at 701 Assembly St. (Coliseum and training facility) to boil their water for at least one minute before drinking or cooking.
The City has experienced a 6-inch water main break in the area.
This could possibly result in bacterial contamination of the water in that area.
The City of Columbia Water Works division is currently working to correct the problem.
People in that area should continue to boil the water for drinking and cooking purposes until notified by the City of Columbia.
