A section of Richland Street in Columbia is under a boil water advisory after a water main break.
According to the city, residents of Richland Street between Main Street and Park Street is should boil their water for at least one full minute before drinking or cooking.
The water main break occurred between Main and Park streets and could possibly result in bacterial contamination.
City of Columbia Water Works is working to correct the issue.
