Boil water advisory in Elizabethtown remains in effect

ELIZABETHTOWN — A Boil Water Advisory is in effect due to a repaired water main break that occurred on the north side of W. Broad St. from Woodland Dr. to Southern Peanut Co. This includes ONLY residents on Woodland Dr. and Wildwood St., as well as the areas around Schultz-Ellis Chiropractic, Stewart’s Mobile Service, Big Show Auto Finishes, & Southern Peanut Co.
The Town Of Elizabethtown advises that when water service is restored the residents of the above areas boil their water prior to human consumption or utilize another water source such as bottled water. Human consumption includes all water used for cooking, making ice, drink mixing, food preparation, hand washing, or other means of consumption. Residents should vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by the Town of Elizabethtown.
