Boil water advisory lifted in Tresckow

Residents in Tresckow are no longer under a boil water advisory.
Aaron DeBalko, chairman of the Kline Twp.
Municipal Authority — which provides water to Tresckow, as well as McAdoo and Kline Twp.
— said the advisory was lifted Tuesday morning.
“All the tests came back good,” DeBalko said.
Impacted residents received calls Tuesday alerting them that it’s now safe to drink the water.
The advisory had been in effect since last week because of a new water line that runs up Tresckow Road from the Altadis cigar plant and the McAdoo Industrial Park.
When the authority connected the line, it had to take two good, back-to-back samples before the advisory could be lifted.
Samples were taken Thursday and Friday, and positive results were received Tuesday.
