CCC to host Environmental Trade Fair

The exhibitors will discuss the many ways their activities or businesses are connected with the environment.
Gary Henry, CCC associate professor of environmental science and technology, introduced the Environmental Trade Fair to the college last year.
Henry is a hydrogeologist who did environmental consulting before he joined the staff at Clinton.
The event is paid for by the CCC Earth Day Committee, Henry said, with professors, staff and students collecting cans throughout the year so refunds can be used for this activity.
A few days later, the City of Plattsburgh will take its turn with a lineup of Earth Day exhibitors.
From noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 22, the city hosts the Discover Service and Earth Day Festival on the U.S.
Oval and City Recreation Center.
Exhibitors include: the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, American Cancer Society, Clinton County Office for the Aging, Sunrise Rotary, Friends of the Saranac River Trail, Strand Center for the Arts, Foundation of CVPH-Volunteer Dept., Girl Scouts of NENY, American Red Cross, Clinton County Historical Association, Stop Domestic Violence, ADK Wildlife Refuge, Paul Smith’s College, Outside Art: Plattsburgh Public Art Project, Plattsburgh Green Team, Reality Check, Plattsburgh Community Gardens, United Way, Friends of the Plattsburgh Public Library, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Lake Champlain International Film Festival, Building Bridges, Friends of Point au Roche State and the City of Plattsburgh.
