MOUNT HOPE, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —
The city of Mount Hope has issued a boil water advisory for some customers.
The area under the advisory runs from the Summerset pump station to the end of Summerset and all side streets, according to a news release issued Thursday by the city.
Customers are advised not to drink the water without boiling it first. Bring water to a boil, let it boil one minute and then let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing and food preparation until further notice.
Officials said they hope the problem will be resolved in two days.
