HUBBARD, Oh – The City of Hubbard will be under both a water conservation advisory and precautionary boil alert on Monday.

Daniel Livingston, Hubbard’s Service Director, says that the measures are necessary as the city repairs a break on its main water transmission line.

City officials ask residents to begin conserving Monday morning at 7:00.

Livingston says that all city of Hubbard water users are asked to refrain from any unnecessary water usage while the advisory is in effect.

The boil alert, according to Livingston, will start that night at 6:00pm.

Although the alert is precautionary, Hubbard residents are asked to boil their water for one minute before drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth with it.

The alert will last until lab testing confirms that the water is safe to consume.
