A community-wide boil water advisory for Ignace remains in effect.

The advisory has been in place since Monday night.

The water main break which caused the advisory has been fixed, but the township is still waiting on two positive test results of the water from Northern Water Works.

A rush has been put on getting the results back.

All water from taps should be boiled for at least one minute before consumption.
