Fireworks are illegal on all state and federal land in Montana, including all FWP fishing access sites, wildlife management areas and other sites.
Montana State Parks invites members of the public to join us and our partners for the dedication of the new Trident-Peregrine Birding Trail in Missouri Headwaters State Park, 1585 Trident Road in Three Forks, on Saturday, July 8, at 9 a.m.
Many other bird species also use the area which has a unique combination of cliffs, rivers, shoreline vegetation and nesting areas.
Lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. at the park’s picnic area.
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ popular Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program offers classes for women to improve upon or learn new outdoor skills.
Class will be held at Greenough Park in Missoula.
All turkey and sandhill crane permit applicants must have a 2017 Conservation License and base hunting license and they must pay a $5 nonrefundable application fee.
Mail-in applications must be received by 5 p.m. on July 27.
