Part of Richland County under boil water advisory.
COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) – The City of Columbia Water Works division is asking for a portion of Richland County to boil their water.
The division says water customers at the Department of Juvenile Justice on Broad River Road to boil their water before drinking or cooking.
The City says the area has experienced a 10-inch water main break, which could result in bacterial contamination of the water.
The City is currently in the process of working the problem.
