UPDATE: Boil water advisory canceled in Osage County
OSAGE COUNTY, Mo.
– UPDATE 10/16: The boil water advisory was lifted Tuesday afternoon.
ORIGINAL: The Osage County Emergency Operations Center issued a boil water advisory Friday afternoon.
According to the center, the advisory was only for district 3 and was caused by work being completed for water line improvements.
The advisory affects residents along County Road 300 and all of county roads 305 and 420.
"This also affects addresses along Highway 100 starting at County Road 300 and Highway 100 up to Country Road 421," according to an emergency operations Facebook post.
Those affected should use only boiled or bottled water for drinking and all other food preparation.

Water outage, boil water advisory issued for Grandview
COLUMBUS, Ind.–Southwestern Bartholomew Water Company has announced that its water service will be shut off tomorrow for some residents of Grandview Lake.
Customers with property starting at the Grandview Lot Owners Association office and ending at 11251 West Grandview Drive are affected.
The water main will be down for repairs on Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Once service is restored, a boil water advisory will be in effect until 4 p.m. on Friday.
Boil water advisory issued for portions of Jones, Carteret County
TRENTON, N.C. (WNCT) – A boil water advisory has been issued for water consumers of Jones County Regional Water System located within the areas of Maysville and Jones/Carteret County due to a water main break.
The water consumers located on Blueberry Farm road and Highway 58 south will be experiencing periods of low pressure and outages in the distribution system.
Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increases the potential for back siphonage and introduction of bacteria into the water system.
The Division of Environmental Health advises consumers to boil all water once the water is restored.
Vigorous boiling for one (1) minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water.
The advisory remains in effect until further notification is issued.
Crews are currently in route to repair the issue.
Town of Roseland ends boil water advisory
ROSELAND, La.
As of 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 15, Roseland citizens can consume water as they normally would after the lifting of the boil water advisory.
The Town of Roseland released this statement on Monday morning: "As of 9:30a.m.
this morning , the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, Office of Public Health’s investigations of the town’s water system has been completed and has deemed it safe for use once again by the community.
Mayor Wanda McCoy has lifted the boil order.
“It is always better to err on the side of precaution and have these things checked thoroughly to insure the safety of our community.
Due to experiencing leaks with the water supply system, as a precaution Mayor Wanda McCoy had issued a boil water advisory last Thursday for the town.
Town repair crews worked diligently to repair the leaks and tried to assess, locate problem areas before they arise .
This was the second such incident ever for Roseland.
Mayor McCoy also expressed her gratitude for the professionalism and expediency of the staff of the Office of Public Health in their assurance of the safety of the town’s water system."

City of Leesburg lifts boil water advisory after water test results
LEESBURG, GA (WFXL) – According to the Leesburg Police Department, the boil water advisory for the city has been lifted after a test of the water came back safe to drink.
Officials say normal water consumption can resume in the City of Leesburg.
Boil water advisory lifted for Spring Township
SPRING TOWNSHIP, Pa. – A boil water advisory issued Wednesday for parts of Berks County has been lifted.
Pennsylvania American Water said in a release Sunday roughly 6,500 customers in Spring Township, Sinking Spring, Wyomissing, Lower Heidelberg Township and South Hiedelberg Township no longer have to boil their water before use.
The state Department of Environmental Protection authorized the lifting of the advisory after acceptable test results were obtained from samples collected on Friday and Saturday.
The advisory had been issued on October 10 after a water main break off Mountain Home Road in Sinking Spring which caused a loss of positive water pressure.
Boil water advisory lifted for Otisville
A boil water advisory has been canceled for Otisville after a drop in pressure.
The loss in pressure was due to a vehicle accident with a hydrant on Oct. 10.
The city said no coliform bacteria was found after testing the system’s water.

Boil water advisory issued for Spivey in Kingman County
Customers should observe the following precautions until further notice: If your tap water appears dirty, flush the water lines by letting the water run until it clears.
Boil water for one minute prior to drinking or food preparation or use bottled water.
Dispose of ice cubes and do not use ice from a household automatic icemaker.
Disinfect dishes and other food contact surfaces by immersion for at least one minute in clean tap water that contains one teaspoon of unscented household bleach per gallon of water.
Water used for bathing does not generally need to be boiled.
Supervision of children is necessary while bathing so that water is not ingested.
Persons with cuts or severe rashes may wish to consult their physicians.
The advisory took effect on October 10, 2018 and will remain in effect until the conditions that placed the system at risk of bacterial contamination are resolved.
Failure to maintain adequate pressure may result in a loss of chlorine residuals and bacterial contamination.

Town of Roseland issues boil water advisory
ROSELAND – A boil water advisory has been issued for the Town of Roseland Tuesday night.
After experiencing another break in the water supply system, as well as low water pressure, Mayor Wanda McCoy has issued a boil water advisory effective immediately.
The mayor says citizens will be updated when the advisory is lifted.
