A boil order advisory that was put in place this past Friday for all residents of the Town of Stephenville has now been lifted.
The boil order was put in place due to a malfunction in the chlorination system, which has since been repaired.

A boil water advisory is in effect for residents of Village Green Mobile Home Park, 825 S. O’Brien St., Seymour.
The advisory will remain in effect until further notice, according to a news release from Pat Fosbrink, office manager of Natural Public Supply, which supplies water to the mobile home park.

Boil water advisory for residents in Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ7) — The City of Lynchburg’s Department of Water Resources has issued a notice for their customers.
The Virginia Department of Health, in conjunction with the Lynchburg Health Department and City of Lynchburg Department of Water Resources says for residents in the Riverside Dr. area should boil their tap water or use bottle water for drinking and cooking purposes.
Failure to follow this advisory could cause a stomach or intestinal illness, the department says.
This advisory takes place after a broken water main valve on Riverside Drive.
Areas affected include the following: – Riverside Drive – Ridgelawn Place – Reusens Road (in the 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500 blocks) – Chambersville Street – Gilliam Avenue – Rolfe Avenue "Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, beverage and food preparation, and making ice until further notice.
Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
Boiling is the preferred method to assure that the tap water is safe to drink.
Bring all tap water to a rolling boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water."

Boil water advisory issued for part of South Abington Twp.

SOUTH ABINGTON TWP.
— Aqua Pennsylvania issued a boil water advisory today for customers connected to their Chinchilla and Stanton water systems.
An all clear is not expected until at least Thursday.
The utility posted the boil water advisory on their website.
A plumbing failure caused a water outage for “many customers” for the Chinchilla I, II and Stanton water systems.
Bulk water is being trucked into the system so water service can be restored as quickly as possible, the water utility said.
Repairs are being made.
Customers are advised to boil their water or use bottled water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, preparing food and washing dishes until sample tests are received from a laboratory.

Discoloration in water prompted boil water advisory, affected business this weekend

On Friday, many Bluefield residents and businesses woke up to tap water tinged with yellow sediment.
A water main addition to the Bluefield water district shifted the velocity and direction of water in existing pipes, bringing up sediment and mineral deposits within the pipes.
Some reported discolored water as early as 5 AM.
By 4:30 PM, the West Virginia Water Company deemed the reports extensive enough to issue a boil water advisory.
The advisory, under West Virginia regulations, had to last until the water had been sampled and cleared for bacteria after a 24 hour window.
Laura Martin, a spokesperson for the company, told WVVA news that 8 samples had been taken throughout the water system on Saturday.
Some communities within Bland and Tazewell County, including Bluefield, VA, buy water from the Bluefield District as well.
These areas had the boil water advisory lifted today to comply with Virginia’s stricter regulations.
Local businesses were affected by the water.
Blue Spoon owner Nicole Coburn told us that she had to "buy extra water, we had to buy new ice, turn the ice machine off, do some things like that".

Precautionary boil water advisory lifted in Bluefield, Va.

BLUEFIELD, Va. — West Virginia American Water has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory for customers of Bluefield Valley Water Works in Bluefield, Va.
The advisory was issued Friday due to discolored water in parts of West Virginia American Water’s Bluefield, W.Va. water system, which provides water to Bluefield Valley Water Works in Virginia.
Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards per Virginia Department of Health regulations.
Therefore, there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption, the company said in a press release.
“West Virginia American Water thanks customers for their patience and cooperation during this event,” the press release said.
“Customers are encouraged to share this information with other Bluefield Valley Water Works customers in the affected area.

City of Gary has issued a boil-water advisory for entire water system.
The advisory is issued due to certified operator vacation.
West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 30 customers on Virginia Avenue from 41st Street to 43rd Street including 42nd Street from Staunton Avenue to Kanawha Avenue and Kanawha Avenue from 42nd Street to 43rd Street in Kanawha City.
The advisory follows a water main break.
Beckley Water Company has issued a boil-water advisory for all of Rustic Hills in Crab Orchard area.

Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.

Boil water advisory lifted in Rotterdam

Officials say as a precaution, residents should flush all water lines in your home for at least five minutes prior to use.
Residents are also urged to discard any ice made by ice machines, including any final batch made while flushing water lines.
The advisory was issued Sunday morning following a water main break on Curry Road.

Boil water advisory lifted in Bluefield

The boil water advisory that was issued by West Virginia American Water for the entire Bluefield water system has been lifted.
It is now safe for residents to use tap water.
The advisory was issued on Friday due to reports of discolored water in parts of the system.
West Virginia American Water says that the discolored water was the result of a contractor connecting a new water main, which changed the direction and velocity of water in the existing water distribution network, which caused mineral deposits inside the pipes to break loose into the water column.

Boil water advisory continues in Rotterdam

Water service has been restored but a boil water advisory remains in effect.
Rotterdam Town Supervisor Steven Tommasone says the first of two water quality tests being conducted.
The second test will take place Monday.
