Boil water advisory lifted for village of Holly
HOLLY, Mich. — The village of Holly lifted their boil water advisory today.
According to the city, final test results regarding the water were given the "all clear."
Holly issued the boil advisory earlier this week.
A break in valve on a water main along N. Saginaw Street prompted the advisory.
Boil water advisory issued for parts of Orange County
ORANGE — The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has issued a boil water advisory for people who get their water from the Orange County Water Control Improvement District #2 public water system (West Orange).
Customers on east side of town including Pearson, Greenbriar, Westmore, Lawndale, Bellcrest, Foreman, Holland, Hwy 87 Holland, Western from 87 to Quincy, Quincy, Longhorn, Buffalo, and Alamo to boil their water prior to consumption, according to a release from the water district.
+++ News release from Orange County Water Control Improvement District #2 public water system (West Orange) To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses).
You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.

Boil Water Advisory issued for areas of Fairmont
The boil water advisory is in effect for residents of Boulevard Avenue, Salem Street, Kerns Avenue and the surrounding area.
The purpose for this advisory is a main water line repair in the area.
Residents of the affected areas are advised to boil water until further notice.

Boil water advisory issued for entire village of Holly
HOLLY, Mich. – The village of Holly has issued a boil water advisory for all residents.
There is also a boil water alert for all customers on their water system.
A break in valve on a water main along N. Saginaw Street prompted the advisory.
According the village’s Facebook page, the boil water advisory will remain in effect for the next 48 hours.

Water boil advisory issued for areas near Eagle Creek Park
The City of Findlay Water Distribution Department has issued a water boil advisory for several blocks near South Blanchard and Second streets.
According to the department, the following blocks are affected: The 1000 and 1100 blocks of South Blanchard Street The 500 and 600 blocks of Second Street The 900, 1000 and 1100 blocks of Park Street Repair work on the water main at South Blanchard and Second streets is cited as the reason for the advisory.
Consumers affected by the advisory should vigorously boil all water used for cooking, drinking or oral hygiene for at least one minute, or use bottled water instead.
Boil advisory in effect for portions of southeastern NC in wake of Hurricane Florence
A mandatory boil water advisory has been issued for consumers of Carolina Beach.
Crews in Carolina Beach are working to restore water and sewer services.
Residents should see water pressure slowly gaining throughout the day.
Residents can use the water to bathe but should boil water for a minute or two before human consumption or use bottled water.
Customers will be notified when testing is completed and service is returned to normal.
A boil advisory has been issued for a portion of Surf City, town officials announced in a Facebook post Saturday.
"At this time, we are issuing a boil water advisory for the island portion of Town, including property located up to JH Batts Rd," the post stated.
"This advisory does not affect the mainland portion of Town after JH Batts to Highway 17."

Residents of Longswamp community advised to boil water
Video LONGSWAMP TWP., Pa. – A boil water advisory is in effect for some in eastern Berks County.
Homes at Mountain Village in Longswamp Township have been affected by a well pump failure.
According to a state Department of Environmental Protection notice posted on the office door, a pump failed Tuesday and electricians have been called.
In the meantime, residents are being told to boil their water before drinking it.
They can also get water from a tank near the entrance to the community.
"We gotta come down here to the water truck to get water, but this is not the first time this has happened," said resident James Ward.
"This is — it’s crazy."
Some residents of the nearby Hereford Estates in Hereford Township are also complaining of water problems.
Our calls for comment from management have not been returned.
Boil-water advisory issued for Glenville
GLENVILLE – Schenectady County is urging residents in part of the town to boil water before drinking it or using it in cooking to avoid potential contamination from a broken water main.
The boil water advisory is in effect in the following parts of the town: • Sacandaga Road from Van Voast Lane to North Road • Van Voast Lane • Snake Hill Road • Closson Road • Bolt Road • Church Road • North Road • Rector Road • Ridge Road • Maura Lane It was not immediately clear where the pipe broke or how long it will take to fix it.

A boil advisory has been issued for customers of the Lawtell Water District following a water main break Wednesday afternoon.
Residents who live on the following streets are under a bowl water advisory until further notice: U.S. 190 east, Wisdom St. , North 6th St. , South 6th St. , Boudreaux St., Debleaux St., Lee St., Blake St., Gerard Street., Boone Street and Charles Burr Lane.
