Boil advisory issued for New Buffalo

NEW BUFFALO, Mich. (WNDU) – The city of New Buffalo is issuing a water boil advisory.
Numerous water mains broke Monday, causing low pressure in many areas of the city’s water system.
All the leaks have been repaired, but officials are urging caution in consuming the water until testing can be completed.
The city says residents should boil their water for three minutes before drinking or using it.

Boil Advisory issued in Clark Co. village

NORTH HAMPTON, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT) – A boil advisory has been issued for the village of North Hampton in Clark County until further notice.
Officials say the advisory is due to an issue with the towers.
Samples have been taken to be tested.
Once those samples come back safe, the advisory will be lifted.

East Mountain boil advisory could end Monday

SCRANTON — A boil-water advisory for about 1,400 customers in Scranton’s East Mountain neighborhood could be lifted as early as this morning pending test results.
A broken line in the area that led to low tank levels prompted Pennsylvania American Water to issue a precautionary advisory Saturday night.
Affected customers were notified via automated phone call, a company spokeswoman said.
The company has temporary drinking water tanks at Engine 10 on East Mountain Road, Linwood Nursing Home on Florida Avenue and Lutherwood nursing home on Lake Scranton Road.

Clark County village under boil advisory

According to Records Operator Jeff Clevenger, the water towers went down around 5 a.m. Sunday.
The towers were back in operation an hour later but the water pressure is still low.
Residents are advised to boil their water for 3 minutes before use.
Clevenger says the advisory should be in effect until Tuesday.

North Hampton Issues Boil Advisory

The Village of North Hampton has issued a boil advisory.
You should bring all water to a rolling boil for at least three minutes, then let it cool before using.
This applies to water used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation.
The system suffered a loss of pressure which could cause backpressure, backsiphonage or water entering the system through cracks, breaks or joints.
This boil advisory is in effect until further notice.

According to Jeff Clevenger – Operator of record of the North Hampton Water Treatment Plant – there is a boil advisory for the Village of North Hampton in Clark County.
The tower pressure dropped under 20 psi, and residents need to boil water for three minutes.
Residents should bring water to a roiling boil for at least three minutes before using for drinking, cooking or brushing teeth.
Bacteria samples will be collected on Monday, and testing takes 24 hours.
The boil advisory will be in effect until at least Tuesday.

Boil water for one (1) full minute in a clean container.
The one minute starts after the water has been brought to a rolling boil.
(The flat taste can be eliminated by shaking the water in a clean bottle or pouring it from one clean container to another.
Upon notification from the Office of Public Heath’s State Regional Laboratory that the samples collected from our water supply have been found to be safe, the State Health Department will notify the water supply of the sample results.
Upon such notification, the Town of Clayton Water System will then rescind the Boil Advisory and notify its customers that the water has been found to be safe.

Tri-Water System Issues Boil Advisory

Therefore, as a precaution, the Tri-Water System is issuing a BOIL ADVISORY effective immediately.
This BOIL ADVISORY is to remain in effect until rescinded by the Tri-Water System.
It is recommended that all customers disinfect their water before consuming it (including fountain drinks), making ice, brushing teeth, or using it for food preparation or rinsing of foods by the following means: Boil water for one (1) full minute in a clean container.

Boil advisory that closed Rossville schools lifted

ROSSVILLE, Kan. (WIBW) — BREAKING NEWS: The boil advisory that forced a couple of Rossville schools to close early Wednesday is over.
On Thursday, the Kansas Dept.
of Health and Environment rescinded the boil order covering the City of Rossville.
The agency says laboratory testing found no evidence of contamination.
The advisory was issued after a loss in pressure led to fears of a loss in chlorine residuals and bacterial contamination.
Following the advisory, Kaw Valley USD 321 said both Rossville Grade School and Rossville Junior/Senior High School would close at 12:15 p.m. that day because they wouldn’t have any water.
