Boil water advisory issued for customers of Schoolcraft system

Schoolcraft officials issued a boil water advisory Wednesday, after the village’s water supply experienced a pressure loss.
The village manager said the water pressure dropped while an outside contractor was doing work on the system.
The boil water advisory is a precautionary measure, due to concerns over contamination.
It will be lifted once test results come back negative.
That’s expected to happen within the next 24 hours.

Union Williams PSD issues Boil Water Advisory for customers on Deerwalk Highway

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The Union Williams Public Service District has issued a Boil Water Advisory until further notice for some customers on Deerwalk Highway in Wood County.
The Boil Water Advisory affects customers located on Deerwalk Highway, from 147 Saddle Lane to 5017 Deerwalk Highway, in Wood County.

Customers of Grand Prarie Water System under boil advisory

Officials with the Grand Prarie Water System have issued a system-wide boil water advisory for all of its customers until further notice.
The advisory was issued due to a loss of pressure within the system.
Officials will make an announcement once the boil advisory has been lifted.

Boil advisory issued for several Princeton customers

The Princeton Water Utility has issued a precautionary boil advisory for several customers after a water main break.
The boil advisory is for all customers along S. Washington St., S. Adams St., S. Jefferson St., south of E. Illinois St., and 700 to 1300 blocks of E. Ohio St. Officials advise customers to bring all cooking and drinking water to a complete boil for five minutes before using.
Customers should continue to boil their water until they are notified that it is no longer necessary.

Boil Water Advisory for all customers in Crab Orchard

CRAB ORCHARD, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Crab Orchard Water Department has issued a Boil Water Advisory for all customers in the Crab Orchard city limits.
The department says this advisory is due to a recent waterline break, which has the potential to allow contamination to get into the water system.
Customers in the area are asked to boil water before drinking or cooking.

Water quality advisory issued for Okanagan’s Killiney Beach customers

The Regional District of Central Okanagan has issued a water quality advisory for people using the Killiney Beach water system.
The advisory affects more than 280 properties in the Killiney Beach subdivision off Westside Road.
Children, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems should boil tap water before drinking it, according to health officials.

The advisory has been issued because of the level of water turbidity, which is tiny particles suspended in the water.
Officials say roadside notices will also warn people about the advisory.

Pa. American Water issues boil-water advisory for customers in Carroll Township, Monongahela

Pennsylvania American Water Tuesday issued a precautionary boil-water advisory for approximately 1,300 customers in portions of Carroll Township and Monongahela in Washington County.
+4 A loss of water pressure at a storage tank in Carroll Township following a water main break Monday resulted in the advisory.
The company said a loss of water pressure could allow contamination to enter the distribution system, increasing the chance the water might contain disease-causing organisms.
The advisory applies to Monongahela customers east of the Sheetz store on East Main Street and Carroll Township customers south of Monongahela Cemetery.
Water officials said customers in these specific areas are affected: Eldora Victory Hill Black Diamond Grandview Wickerham Manor Carroll Plan Sacred Heart Customers in these areas should not drink water without boiling it first and bring all water to a rolling boil for one minute and let cool before using.
The company also installed water tankers at a Giant Eagle at 1300 Country Club Road, Carroll Township, and Carroll Township Volunteer Fire Department at 988 Route 837.
People should bring their own containers to collect water at those locations, Pennsylvania American spokesman Gary Lobaugh said.
The company expects the advisory to be lifted Thursday if it meets testing guidelines set by the state Department of Environmental Protection.
He said the storage tank and distribution system are expected to reach adequate levels Tuesday night.

Suez: Boil water advisory lifted for Middletown customers

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WHTM) – Customers of Suez Middletown Water can stop boiling their drinking water.
The company announced Friday that a problem has been corrected and boiling is no longer necessary for Middletown residents.
The state Department of Environmental Protection approved lifting the advisory.
It was issued Wednesday after deficiencies were identified at one of Middletown’s wells.
Suez said the deficiencies included a loss of disinfection of water entering the distribution system.

Boil Advisory issued for Jones McGinty customers in Morehouse Parish

A boil advisory has been issued for Jones McGinty customers in Morehouse Parish.
According to a release, the company experienced a problem with the water on the Old Bonita Road 7/10s of miles north of the elevated tank.
Jones McGinty says there was a main leak that resulted in the loss of pressure to the entire water system and all customers of the system in Morehouse Parish.
Due to the main leak the water system says their water is at a questionable microbiological quality.
"It is recommended that all consumers disinfect their water before consuming it (including fountain drinks), making ice, brushing teeth, or using it for food preparation or rinsing of foods by the following means: Boil water for one (1) full minute in a clean container.
The one minute starts after the water has been brought to a rolling boil.
(The flat taste can be eliminated by shaking water in a clean bottle or pouring it from one clean container to another.)
Again, please be sure to disinfect your own water prior to consumption until you have been advised otherwise."

BOIL ADVISORY| Valley Public customers

GLOVERVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) — Valley Public Service Authority customers are asked to boil their water for one full minute before drinking, cooking or making ice.
VPSA reports that there has been an interruption in service.
There are no confirmed reports of contamination of the system but as a precautionary measure the following areas that have experienced an interruption in service and/or low water pressure are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute: Augusta Road from Old Aiken Road Extension up to Old Cherokee Drive.
