There’s something not quite right with these fancy-looking ice lollies.
The sun is shining.
The air is heavy and dripping with smog.
Beads of sweat have started to form on your upper lip.
This can only mean one thing – it’s summertime in London.
Well looky here, what are these?
They’re all made with contaminated water, and make up Polluted Water Popsicles – an art project by three design students in Taiwan.
The group wanted to highlight the issue of water pollution in their country, and the world over.
The students visited 100 different polluted water sources in Taiwan – like lakes, rivers, sewers and beaches – and collected water to freeze into delicious-looking, but incredibly gross ice lollies.
BRB, just off to make an ice lolly from it.
