The Kentucky Division of Water has lifted a boil water advisory which was issued on Tuesday for Monroe County Water District customers in the city of Gamaliel on and along Red Boiling Springs Road, Bugtussle, Road, Fountain Run Road and the Flippin area.

The Kentucky Division of Water has issued a boil water advisory for parts of Monroe County due to a main water line hit.

The affected customers are in the Gamaliel, on and along Red Boiling Springs Road, Bugtussle, Road, Fountain Run Road and the Flippin area.

Approximately 650 customers are affected by the advisory.

Customers should bring water to a boil for at least three minutes before using.

The advisory will continue until after sample results are received.
