BELPRE, Ohio (WTAP) – On Wednesday, July 11, an 8-hour water outage and 48-hour Boil Water Advisory will affect some customers in Belpre, as crews repair a water main slip on Ohio Route 7.
The City of Belpre Public Works Department says, starting at 9;00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 11, water will be shut off from Matheny Avenue in Belpre to the northern end of the water main ending at EnviroTank Clean, and the water main serving Joe Skinner Road.
The water shut off is needed for Belpre Public Works crews to repair a water main slip along Ohio State Route 7.
The repair work is expected to take 8 hours to complete, but the city warns residents to to have 2 days’ worth of water available in case of unforeseen circumstances.
A Boil Water Advisory will be in place beginning 9:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 11, 2018 and lasting 48 hours after water pressure and flow has been re-established.
