I, the Waterwise column, pledged allegiance to the Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation. The Waterwise column took the pledge to be part of the nationwide campaign to conserve water, be mindful of unnecessary car trips and eat all food I prepare. In essence, it was a continuation of habits the Waterwise column routinely does. Yes, there are prizes involved as motivation.
