48-hour boil order is in effect in Cahokia
EAST ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) — An official from Commonfields Water of Cahokia said there is a 48-hour boil order in effect for the Village of Cahokia.
According to police, residents called in saying they had no running water in areas across the East.
St. Louis region.
Police say the water pressure in the Metro East area, including Cahokia, Sauget, Centreville, East St. Louis, and others is now back to normal.
According to Illinois American Water, this was a power issue with Commonfields Water of Cahokia.
There is also boil advisory in effect for St. Clair, Mo.
