7 water distribution centers open in Pittsburgh, Millvale, Reserve Township during boil advisory.
Seven locations have been designated as water distribution centers while a precautionary flush and boil advisory remains in effect for residents of 19 Pittsburgh city neighborhoods, the borough of Millvale and Reserve Township.
Water tanks will be stationed at each of the following seven locations: Millvale Millvale Community Center, 416 Lincoln Ave. Reserve Township Reserve VFD, 33 Lonsdale St. City of Pittsburgh Pressley high-rise: 601 Pressley St. Pennsylvania Bidwell: 1014 Sheffield St. Fire Station 33: 3284 Central Ave. Fire Station 35: 1519 Orchlee St. Fire Station 38: 198 Essen St. Water is available only for residents and businesses affected by the boil advisory.
Containers will not be provided.
Bring sanitized, portable containers to be filled with water.
City of Pittsburgh residents who are unable to visit a water distribution center should call 311 for help.
Calls are answered by an operator from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Outside the city, call 412-255-2621 instead.
The Allegheny County Health Department has provided the following guidelines for food preparation safety.
The Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority customer service center will have extended hours from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
