Boil Water Advisory Repeal for Customers on Carriage House Lane & Green Street between Lyttleton and Broad Streets

.
The City of Camden advises its water customers located in the above area, that they no longer need to boil their water. On September 19th, 2017, results from laboratory testing indicate the water on this system is safe to drink and use for other purposes without the need for boiling.
The precautionary Advisory was generated due to a nearby water line connection being completed on a related utility construction project. Following contractor work on the connection, City staff flushed water lines and collected water samples in accordance with SCDHEC requirements for the above referenced laboratory testing.
We apologize for any inconvenience regarding the return to normal conditions and appreciate the cooperation from our customers. Again the Boil Water Advisory issued September 18th, which was issued as a matter of precaution only, for the above listed area has been lifted. Should you have any questions, please contact the City of Camden Public Works office at (803) 425-6045 or SCDHEC at (803) 778-1531.
