DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The city of Danville is issuing a water boil advisory to the Dry Fork Road area until further notice.
Workers are repairing a water main break by replacing a pipe.
Although no contamination has been confirmed, the city recommends bringing all water to a rolling boil for three minutes, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water.
Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice.
Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
