Shasta County, Calif.–Shasta County residents are advised to boil their water before drinking it.
The Public Works Department says a leak drained a portion of the main line and the water system lost pressure.
Repairs are underway but the department says it’s necessary to boil your water before drinking it until testing deems it safe.
Testing should be completed by Friday.
