Johnson County Public Water Supply District 1 has a issued a boil order in effect for the Timber Hills neighborhood.
Johnson County Emergency Management Agency states it would like to reiterate the importance of citizens to sign up for Rave, as they can get free weather alerts specific to Johnson County through the system JOCEMA also states it commends the cooperation that occurred between the City of Warrensburg Emergency Management Agency, Warrensburg Fire & Rescue, Johnson County Fire Protection District #2, Johnson County Central Dispatch E-911 and Johnson County Amateur Radio Emergency Service.
During the incident, Johnson County Amateur Radio Emergency Service volunteers were storm spotting and were able to give real-time updates as the storm progressed throughout Johnson County, along with direct communications between Johnson County EMA and JCCD E-911 on weather related incidents/events.
