Some Clare residents are under a boil water after the city’s water distribution system experience low pressure.
The water notice applies to the northwestern and northern area of the city, from Wheaton Street north to the US-127 Expressway, from Woodlawn Drive to McEwan Street.
Residents should bring their water to a rolling boil for a full minute and cool before using.
Bottled water can be used as well.
The city is now flushing the water system and sanitizing the water delivery system.
The city said the boil water notice will likely be in effect until Monday.
