Boil water advisory issued at Cornell Arms Apartments
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH)– Water customers who live at the Cornell Arms Apartments are currently under a boil water advisory.
Columbia Water laboratory staff is advising water customers at 1230 Pendelton Street to vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking.
Columbia Water experienced a water main break that could possibly result in bacterial contamination of water at the apartment building.
Those who live near the area are also advised to boil their water as the water staff is currently working to correct the problem.
All food processors and restaurants should comply with prescribed USDA and SCDHEC recommendations, respectively.
