DECATUR, IN – Geneva Clerk/Treasurer Jane Kaverman has issued a statement that a boil advisory has been issued for portions of the town of Geneva.
“Water main leaks being repaired along U.S. 27 have prompted us to drop the pressure of our system in order to complete these repairs,” Kaverman said. “This is being done as a precautionary measure. Areas affected by the boil advisory include all water customers west of U.S. 27 between Shackley and Butcher Streets out to Winchester Road.
“The earliest that the boil advisory will be lifted is Friday,” the release concludes.
