Lake City, S.C. (WPDE) — Lake City officials have issued a boil water advisory for part of the city.
Officials said crews were working on replacing a fire hydrant that was installed back in 1919.
The streets affected are; Williamsburg Avenue, Blanding Street ,Taylor Street, lyerly Street , Peachtree Street, Pine Street , Singletary Avenue, Rogers Avenue, Carolina Avenue, Lake Street, Valley Street, Charles Street, Acline Street, Saul Street.
There’s no word on how long the work will take, or how long the boil advisory will remain in place.
