St. Joe boil water advisory lifted

ST. JOE, Ind.
(WANE) – Residents in St. Joe can safely drink water again after a month-long boil water advisory.
Clerk Treasurer Allison McKean said Tuesday that the town lifted its boil water advisory noon Monday.
McKean said all repairs at the town’s pump house had been completed and required water tests came back clean.
It was Aug. 11 when police said a suspected drunk driver drove through a dead-end street and crashed into the pump house.
Repairs were expected to take two weeks, but stretched out a month.
