TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The city of Toledo is repairing the water system.
That means certain streets in West Toledo are under a water boil advisory until Thanksgiving (11/22/18).
Effective immediately residents on Wyman St., South Ave., and Mercer St. in Toledo will need to bring all water for personal consumption to a boil.
The city recommends boiling the water for at least three minutes and letting it cool before use.
This boiled water should be used for drinking, brushing your teeth, and all food preparation including washing dishes.
Once the service is turned back on after the repairs are complete, the water will need to be tested for several days before it will be determined safe.
