BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) – Some Brunswick County Public Utilities customers will be without water Monday, Dec, 3.
According to county officials, the water outage is scheduled due to construction.
Customers from 5798 Bethel Rd to the end of Bethel Rd and adjoining subdivisions in between will not have water starting at 9 a.m. until around 5 p.m. Monday.
This outage in the system increases the potential for back siphonage and bacteria into the water system.
Because of that, Brunswick County Public Utilities and the Division of Water Resources asks that residents boil all water before consuming for at least one minute or use bottled water.
