It’s now day three, as of Sunday, and the City of Jackson is still under a boil water notice.
A boil advisory has been in effect since a water main break occurred, affecting around 60 thousand connections on the city’s water system.
Crews are working to repair the damage and correct the problems, but for now, residents are encouraged to boil water before using it.
