Advisory due to an 8-inch water line break A boil water advisory has been issued for Raccoon and Potter townships due to a water line break, the Municipal Water Authority of Aliquippa announced Sunday.
The authority experienced a loss of positive water pressure Saturday due to an 8-inch water line break along Green Garden Road.
As a result, the Raccoon water storage tank emptied.
The repair was made overnight and water service was restored to the affected customers.
The boil water advisory includes drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and food preparation.
