Because of the size of the break and location of it, it impacted the water pressure in some parts of MetroHealth Medical Center, Cleveland Water said in a news release.
Officials said it should be restored soon.
The water main break is causing multiple highways and roads to be closed.
I-90 eastbound at I-490 and the I-490 eastbound ramp from I-71 northbound are currently closed.
As these valves are closed, pressure should begin to increase in the impacted area.
