Precautionary boil water notice issued for part of Clay County

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – Clay County Utility Authority issued a precautionary boil water notice for the Cokesbury Court area.
The utility said Friday that water service was interrupted Friday due to an emergency repair.
The advisory will remain in effect until the Clay County Utility Authority conducts a bacteriological survey of the public drinking water supply. Two consecutive days of satisfactory bacteriological samples are required before this advisory can be lifted.
Water service for Clay County Utility Authority customers, along a portion of Bernice Road, Baker Road, Magnolia Street, Fayette Avenue and Oak Street, will be temporarily interrupted from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the following dates for a modification to the water distribution system:
- Bernice Road and Baker Road: Monday, July 18
- Magnolia Street and Oak Street: Tuesday, July 19
- Fayette Avenue: Wednesday, July 20
The utility said a precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect after the service is complete.
