UPDATE: Boil Advisory lifted for north Mount Vernon, smaller advisory remains in effect

2:45 p.m. (July 19, 2016) The boil advisory issued on July 17, 2016 has been lifted.

2:00 p.m. (July 17, 2016) The precautionary boil advisory issued on July 15, 2016 has been lifted. Due to additional repairs needed, a new boil advisory has been issued for a much smaller area including West Chestnut (North Sandusky -> North Main Street) and North Mulberry Street (West Chestnut -> West High Street).

If there are any questions, concerns or special needs, contact the Mount Vernon Water Office at 740-393-9504.

A boil advisory has been issued for a large portion of the north end of the city of Mount Vernon.

If you have lost water pressure on July 15, 2016 and are not included within the boil advisory area, please follow boil advisory protocol and bring water to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute before consumption.
