PERKINS TWP. — The Erie County water department issued this statement:

Erie County water service will be shut off temporarily on Boston Road from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 19  for a water line relocation project. Once water service is restored, there will be a boil advisory in effect through 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 20.

A boil advisory means you should boil your water vigorously for 1 to 2 minutes before consumption. If you have any questions, please call the Erie County water department at 419-627-7666.
