Cherry Street Mission seeks donations after boil water advisory
Cherry Street Mission seeks donations after boil water advisory.
Toledo, Ohio (WNWO)- Cherry Street Mission Ministries serves hundreds of people for breakfast lunch and dinner, but that might change because of a boil water advisory that was issued at their Madison Food and Community Service Center.
The group normally feeds around 200 people per meal and the advisory is slowing down the process severely.
They also have to wait for the water to cool down causing even more delay.
Because of this they’re asking for donations from the public including water, paper products, paper towels, plastic cutlery and pre-packaged and frozen food.
You can drop those off from 7 a.m. to 7p.m.
at 1919 Madison Ave in Toledo.
