The Point Blue Water System issued a boil notice for residents in the Kennedy/Eugene subdivision on Tuesday.

The water was shut off due to an unexpected break in a three-inch main line. Crews are working on the line, but water may be off for about two hours.

Once water is restored, all residents in the subdivision will be under a boil advisory until further notice.
