Boil advisory issued for Southern Monroe Water Authority customers.
Southern Monroe Water Authority has issued a precautionary boil advisory following a City of Bloomington main break.
As of 11:30 p.m. Saturday, customers in the affected locations are advised to boil all water intended for cooking and drinking for five minutes prior, according to a news release from the authority.
The advisory includes all customers in these locations: Archer Lane, Bolin Lane, Boruff Road, Church Lane, The Bluffs, Dillman Road, East Lane, Empire Road, Empire Mill Road, Farmers Field, Foxwood Estates, Glenn View Drive, Jeremy Drive, Mahaffey Woods Drive, Moss Wood Estates, Nicole Drive, Patricia Lane, Production Drive, Rockport Road, Rolling Glenn, Shaw Road, Stansifer Lane, That Road, Victor Heights, Victor Pike, Viola Drive, Watson Drive and Wynbrooke Estates.
Customers from 5845 to 6755 S. Old Ind.
37 also are included in the advisory.
The advisory will remain in effect for 48 hours.
During that time, customers may notice lower pressure or complete loss of water.
