A boil water advisory has been issued for Osage County Public Water District No.
1 until approximately 1 p.m. Thursday.
This advisory is for all residents along Route A from Boeckmann Lane to Loose Creek.
This includes Boeckmann Lane, Silver Oak Trail, Valley View Trail, Lewis Trail, the town of Loose Creek and all county roads and addresses off of Route A between Boeckmann Lane and Loose Creek.
This advisory does not include residents along the affected area that are on private well water.
Authorities suggest that for their safety, residents should only use boiled or bottled water for drinking and all other food preparation.
Water may appear rusty in color so residents should also use caution when washing clothing.
